Using a defined construction method helps retrieve information from models. Applying a
standard construction method is useful to ensure that a model contains the essential
components that are required.
The following characteristics of the model structure are checked:
- Hierarchical structure and existence of elements in the tree
- Position of elements on the top-level of the tree
- Feature names
- Element types of components
In addition, the following characteristics can be checked:
- Position of components within a sub-product
- Layers of elements
- Visibility (Show/NoShow) of components Parameters, axis systems
