This connector is available with any role (including Systems Synthesis Analyst).

Extracted Elements

The following objects are extracted:

  • Verification and validation (V&V) specifications, including test cases, test execution, and test results
  • Verification and validation (V&V) scripts

Traceability Links

By default, links between test cases and requirements are extracted.

There are two extraction parameters:

  • Test Case coverage: Defines the Test Case nodes as requirements
  • Extract Test Execution: Extracts Test Executions
    Note: By default, only Test Case nodes are extracted.

You cannot create or delete links.

Tree
In the tree, the Verification & Validation node displays two additional subfolders:
  • V&V Test Specification
  • V&V Test Script
Work Area
  • V&V test specifications are displayed in a tabular view.
  • V&V test scripts are not displayed in the work area.

    Navigating from a test script to a test case (or a test execution) opens the test case (or test execution) in a table view. Below this table, there is a link to the root test specification.

Properties Area
The properties area displays all the properties of V&V tests specifications and scripts.
  • The Out links section displays the relationships of V&V objects and links to any referenced data.
  • The In links section displays links to test cases and test execution referencing the script.
