About Member Lists

A member list is a collection of people. Typically, member lists comprise people in the same department or people working in the same project team.

Your administrator might have migrated existing member lists to user groups. If so, you cannot create new members lists.

A member list can also include a business group, which is a collection of persons. You cannot create a group using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform; an Administrator must use MQL to create the group.

Any user can create a member list, which includes:

  • Name of the member list
  • Whether the list is personal or enterprise in scope
  • The owning organization
  • The people and groups that have been added to the list

You assign member lists to a route when creating the route. Member lists can have either a Personal scope (available only to the user who created it) or an Enterprise scope (available to the organization assigned to it).
