Approving Multiple Tasks Page

This page lets you approve or mark as complete multiple tasks at a time.

Your Business Administrator can configure the app so that you must individually approve tasks and this action is not available.

Required access roles: All

To access this page:

  1. View the Tasks page; see Tasks Page.
  2. Click Mass Approval in the page toolbar.

Column Name Description
Task Status A green arrow means that all route tasks are on time. A yellow diamond means at least one route task, not including the last task in the route task, is late. A red square means that the last task is late.
Name The Name assigned to the task.
Title Title from the task.
Approver The person (you) assigned as the approver for this task.
Due Date Shows the date that the task is due. For a Project Task, shows the estimated end date.
Approval Status Box where you can enter the status for the task. This table shows the available options for some types of tasks:

Object The object to be approved or rejected. Clicking the name opens the object's page:
  • For a route task, opens the properties page for the routed object.
  • For a project task, opens the properties page for the project.
Comments Box where you explain your choice for approval status. If you select an approval status other than "No Action," you must enter a Comment.

If you enter a comment and do not select an approval status for that task, the comment is entered and the task remains open when you click Done.

Your Business Administrator can remove the Comment field when approving tasks.

You can use the toolbar to approve multiple tasks. Only the person who is assigned the task (the task owner) can approve tasks. Users with the Leader or Owner access roles cannot approve tasks for other users.

  1. Select the required tasks.
  2. Select the Column to update: Approval Status or Comments.
  3. Enter the approval status or comments. If you select an approval status other than "No Action," you must enter a Comment.
  4. Click Apply to Selected or Apply to All as appropriate.
