Completing an Issue

To complete an issue, the Issue Manager or Leader describes the action taken and the resolution statement.

You can complete an issue regardless of its current state. The app does not require any approvals or completed routes to complete an issue.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Issue Manager, Analyst


Before you begin: View the Properties page of an issue. See Issue Properties.
  1. Click Close Issue .
  2. Enter these details:

    Field Name Description
    Action Taken Enter the details of what was done to resolve the issue.
    Resolution Statement Enter details explaining why the issue can be closed.
    Resolution Date Click to select a date from the calendar.

  3. Click Done.

When an issue is completed, only the owner (when using app-specific access roles) or an Administrator (when using baseline access roles) can demote it to reopen it.
