Analyzing the Pulling Direction

Pulling Direction Analysis analyzes the pulling direction and the related draft angles to ensure the part can be unmolded. Zones corresponding to specified draft angle ranges are displayed by color.

  1. Define the Pulling Direction.
  2. Click to avoid selecting another pulling direction by mistake.
  3. Under More >>, select and edit required draft angle ranges.
  4. Click Reverse to visualize the zones to unmold in the opposite direction.
  5. Click Fly Analysis to display on the fly the normal to the face and the angle value between the pulling direction and the normal.
  6. Select the Smooth color check box to create a color gradation on the analyzed elements, thus providing more precise angle values.
