Pulling Direction
lets you create one main and several secondary pulling directions.
For each pulling direction, you can analyze the shape and assign
faces to mold areas.
Select a solid.
Select
to edit preferences.
Global Preferences apply to the command.
Active Direction Preferences apply only
to the current pulling direction.
Expand
Analysis
then each category to retrieve information or actions.
Alternatively, expand
Automatic Dispatch
and select a dispatch mode.
To create a spline to split faces, select a point and click
Spline
on the
context toolbar.
then
To create individual disconnected faces for Core and Cavity
analysis, click
Disconnect
on the
context toolbar.
Alternatively, click
Disconnect by Reflect Line and select
faces.
When existing faces are not sufficient to define the area
associated to a slider, you can complete them with the projection of edges or
wireframe elements.
Select edges or wireframe elements and click
Project on Shape
on the
context toolbar.
The selection is projected on the shape, using the
nearest solution option.
Alternatively, select edges or wireframe elements and a set of
faces. Click
Project on Shape
on the
context toolbar.
A join is created from the selected faces. The selected
edges or wireframe elements are projected on this join using the nearest
solution option.
Press Ctrl key and drag the
Robot
to a new position or select faces.
Click
New Slider
on the
context toolbar
to create a secondary pulling direction.
