Creating a Sew Surface

Split and Sew Surface splits faces of a solid to create a sew surface that divides each selected face into two areas. You can color the areas.

  1. Select the Propagation type:
    • No propagation: Select the faces one by one.
    • Tangent continuity: Select one face. All the faces in the same body that are tangent to the selected face are automatically selected.
  2. Select either one face to split by direct pick, or several with multiselection .
  3. Select the cutting element.
