Creating Electrodes

Electrode creates an active geometry, either by extraction or from a sketch, adds a reinforcement, then an electrode holder.

  1. Select the shape to process.
    An axis system is created as the electrode direction.
  2. Extract as many active geometries as required.
    1. Select the cavity faces (Pick or Face Selection Tools).
    2. Or select an edge and use the wizard.
    3. Or select Sketch Active Geometry on the context toolbar and a plane.
    4. On the context toolbar, select Extract Cavity Geometry.
  3. Drag a valid contour to create an offset.
  4. Select active geometries and Create Reinforcement on the context toolbar.
    1. On the context toolbar, select the type of reinforcement.
    2. Drag a face of the reinforcement to resize it.
  5. On the context toolbar, select Holder From Content Chooser or Holder From Catalog .
