Editing Face Color

You can edit the color of faces.

  1. From the Tools section in the action bar, click Face Color Chooser .
  2. Select the current color:
    1. Double-click the patch of color in the palette.
    2. Choose a new color and click OK.
    This color becomes the current one.
  3. Select faces and an action.
    • Restricts the propagation to the faces that have the same color as the first selected face.
    • Selects all the faces that are next to the face you have selected. Select one face, then an adjacent one (to give the direction) and click .
    • Selects all faces that are adjacent, between the selected start and stop faces.
      • Select one face, then an adjacent one (to give the direction) and click .
      • Select a third face where you want to end the selection.
    • Selects all faces that have a tangency continuity with the face you have selected.
    • Selects all faces that have a point continuity with the face you have selected.
    • Selects all faces that are entirely within a polygon trap.
    • Selects all faces that are entirely within a polygon trap and that are visible.
    • Selects faces that are:
      • Normal to a main axis,
      • Parallel or perpendicular to a reference face.
    • Selects all the faces of a given color.
    • Creates a selection set from the selected faces of the current color.
    • Selects the faces belonging to a previously created selection set.
  4. Select to undo the last action.
  5. Select to reset all selections.
  6. Select to color the selected faces.
