Performing a Symmetry on Geometry

You can transform geometry by means of a symmetry operation. Symmetry is an operation in which an element is transformed by means of a mirror symmetry with respect to a reference plane, line or point.


Before you begin: Create a 3D shape containing a geometric element.

About the Transformations Commands
  1. From the Transform section of the action bar, click Symmetry .
  2. In the Element box, select the elements to be transformed by symmetry.
  3. In the Reference box, select a point, line or plane as a reference element.
