Synchronizing from One Source
You can synchronize your representation from one source.
- Log yourself in the PLM Chat
-
Double-click your own user in the PLM Workplace tree
The PLM Chat window opens.
-
Click the line indicating that the designer with whom you simultaneously modify a feature wants to share the last modifications of the feature.
The Collaborative Design Synchronize Current Part command appears on the lower left of contact panel if your representation contains features that are the result of a merge operation.
Important: The Synchronize Current Part command only appears when evoking your HUD, no other action enables you to make it appear. -
Click
Synchronize Current Part
.
A new briefcase is posted in the HUD. -
You can use the same options as the ones presented in the fan menu when receiving a briefcase.
Important: - The version of the representation used to perform the share is the last one saved in the database. To retrieve unsaved changes, use the peer-to-peer mode exchange mode and apply the merge operation.
- When synchronizing, the modified properties of the part body such as its name are not propagated. Only the modified features are synchronized.
