Converting Geolocation Coordinates in another Coordinate Reference System

You can express a geolocation in another CRS using the Coordinate Converter.

  1. From the BIM section of the action bar, click Coordinate Converter .
  2. Under Source, select the CRS of your choice in the list.
  3. Change the coordinates values.
    The result of the conversion is automatically updated under Target as you are entering a value.
    Note: To change the coordinates, you can also:
    • Drag the Robot to the element of your choice in the work area and drop it.
    • Copy coordinates from a web mapping service, right-click and paste the coordinates.
    The values are automatically updated according to the location of the Robot.
  4. Under Target, right-click the Geodetic latitude and select Copy as to.
  5. Optional: To visualize a specific geolocation in a web mapping service, right-click a latitude or longitude and select Locate in web map.
  6. Optional: Click to display the CRS information of the source and target CRS.

    You can open the two windows containing the CRS information for each geolocation to compare them. Click the again to close the windows.
