Pattern Composition
A curvilinear pattern is composed of a list of groups.
Groups
A group is composed of a list of axes. Group limit axes limit the group. In 3D view, the group limit is represented with major axes. A lock/unlock status is associated to them.
Axes between the start limit axis and the end limit are group internal axes. A group may not have internal axes.

Pattern Start and End Limits
By default, the pattern starts from the curve start extremity, and ends at the curve end extremity.
represents the pattern start limit, the first axis of the pattern.
represents the pattern end limit, the last axis of the pattern.
If the pattern start element is selected, by default, the pattern first axis lies on the start element. You can impose a start offset value relative to the start element so that the pattern first axis is moved with the given offset value.
If the start element is not selected, the start offset is relative to the default curve start extremity. The start offset and end offset, as well as the pattern end element cannot be negative values.

A curvilinear pattern always has a start limit and an end limit.
