Place a Selected Component on an Specification Feature

You can automatically position a selected component on a specification feature of a target element and create the corresponding impacts and/or cuts.

Select a product.
In the context toolbar, select and select the target element.
Select the required specification feature.
Once the product is positioned, drag the Robot that appeared on the product to apply an offset, or rotate the product.
In the context toolbar, select New Reference or New instance.
Note: This capability is available only when you are populating a specification feature.
If you have selected New Reference and placed a product with Isolated Features, Replace Isolated External References is automatically started.
The Target Features are visible in the External References geometrical set of the Source Product.
Select to create the impacts or otherwise.
The product is inserted, and the impacts are created or not, according to your choice.
Decide to insert the components only On Selected Specification Feature or On Compatible Specification Features .
