- In the Change Level of Development dialog box, select a line of interest and hover over the icon status.
If an instantiation operation fails, a message is available for each corresponding line.
- To access the report, click the icon status.
If an update incident or warning is detected, a detailed message that describes the cause of the incidents or warnings is displayed with respect to the status icon. The incidents are related to feature-based and product-based designs involved in the computation.
Examples of Incidents and Warnings
If an instantiation fails, various types of incidents or warnings can be detected with respect to the color-coded status icons:
- Update and or Instantiation Issues
- If an error occurred during instantiation and or update of the implementing object, messages can be accessed:
Current destination cannot aggregate the instantiated product because it is a 3D Part.
Current destination cannot aggregate the instantiated product because its range is lower than the one of the instantiated product.
- Synchronization Issues
- If the implementing object is not synchronized with its specification.
Specification and Product are not defined by the same Object Type.
Specification and UDF do not share the same input and or parameters.
Specification inputs are not all linked with BIM attributes.
- Exposition Issues
- If the exposition cannot be performed.
The specification is not defined by an Object Type, or its defining Object Type does not propose the requested exposition.
