Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the part, part family, or model version. Click to open the item. |
| Revision | The revision number or code. |
| Type | The object type or subtype. |
| State | The current state of the object in its lifecycle. |
| Part Type | The usage criteria of the part (for example, Standard or Optional). |
 | If the icon shows in a row, the BOM attributes are overwritten for this row. If the icon does not show, the inherited BOM attributes from the logical feature are used. |
| F/N | The find number is an ID that is used on drawings as bubble call outs. Find Numbers are usually integer values: 1,2,3,... |
| Qty | The quantity of the object included in the model version or feature. If this value is required, you can type a value and then click Apply to submit the changes. Note:
Quantity is a mandatory column and must not be removed when creating a custom table view.

| Usage | Standard, Reference, Per Sales Order, or As Required |
| Ref Des | The reference designator ID is used on printed circuit boards to indicate the location of where an electronic component is to be inserted. Reference designators are usually values like R1, R2, R7 or C1, C5 (i.e., 'R' stands for resistor and 'C' for capacitor). |
| Com Loc | The component location in the BOM. |
| Owner | The person responsible for the object. |
 | The file attached to the object, if any exist. |
| Variant/Option |
The decoupled variant and option effectivity expression defined for the logical feature. You can edit the effectivity until the parent logical feature reaches the Released state. See Building or Editing an Effectivity Expression. Product Engineers must be licensed for both Variant Analysis and Reuse and Configured BOM to edit the effectivity. Note:
This column can only have a value when effectivity has been decoupled.

You only see the Start Milestone and End Milestone columns if the current model version has an associated governing project.

| Start Milestone | The milestone at which effectivity for this part begins. You can only use milestones to define effectivity if the logical feature belongs to a model version that has a governing project defined. The milestones you can choose are defined in the governing project. The column can show separate values for each configuration context (model). |
| End Milestone | The milestone at which effectivity for this part ends. |
