You can use a mobile device to navigate around a virtual object in a
straightforward and intuitive way.
The In the Box iV scenario provides a
ready-to-use navigation tool to deploy an interactive experience on a mobile screen used
as a box containing the virtual world.
Before you begin: This command is relevant only for mobile devices with a screen and
a tracking system (at least a gyroscope).
Hold your mobile device at reading distance.
From the
AR-VR section of the
action bar,
click
iV In the Box.
Move the device around its center as if you were holding a box.
The object is displayed
inside a physical box, and you can see the different parts of this object
according to the physical movements you make.
Important:
You can only change the device orientation. The device position is
not taken into account: if you walk closer to the object, the size
of the rendered object on screen is not modified.
You cannot modify the navigation while the command is running.
