Administration Roadmap

Component Classification enables companies to define classification taxonomies and manage reusable components in a single centralized location that helps improve reuse and reduce costs when defining the approved vendor and manufacturer lists (AVL and AML) for the enterprise bill-of-material (BOM).

To implement Component Classification on-premises, you must first install the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as described in Installation and Administration: 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Collaboration and Approvals is part of 3DSpace, which is installed as part of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

The table below contains a list of supporting components that need to be installed and configured along with a reference for more information. For Component Classification tasks, the table provides cross references to the sections of this guide that describe those steps and options.

Define the name of the host company by changing the name of the "Company Name" business object.

Determine vaulting strategy and set up company vaults using MQL.
