Managing Modified Stress Data

You can manage modified stress data in the virtual stacking.


Before you begin:
  1. In the tree, double-click the Grid Virtual Stacking to update.
    The Virtual Stacking dialog box is displayed, with the following stacking:

  2. Double-click the empty C1 cells in rows (Sequence.16 and Sequence.21) with 0 direction.
    • This valuates the direction of those cells to 0 in the virtual stacking:

    • In the information table, the cell has turned white, the number of plies for that cell is correct :

  3. Proceed as explained above for all cells in red in the information table.
  4. Click Options.
    1. In the 3D display option dialog box, select Thickness law and click Close.
    2. Click OK to validate and exit the Virtual Stacking dialog box.
    You can now inspect the model in the work area.

  5. Click Synchronize Stacking and select the Grid Virtual Stacking.
    1. Click Launch Analysis.
    The Synchronize Stacking And Virtual Stacking dialog box appears and is populated. The last column gives you the status of each ply.
  6. Click Launch Synchronization to synchronize the plies that need to and exit the dialog box.
