- From the Plies Design section of the action bar, click Symmetric Plies Stacking
.
- Select a plies group.
- Decide to create a symmetry with a pivot or
not.
- With the Non-pivot option, a new ply is created for each existing ply as follows and an icon of manual creation
is displayed on each ply.
- Ply.1 (original)
- Ply.2 (original)
- Ply.3 (original)
- Ply.4 (mirror of Ply.3)
- Ply.5 (mirror of Ply.2)
- Ply.6 (mirror of Ply.1)
- With the Pivot option, a new ply is created for each existing ply, except
for the last one (here Ply.3) is used as the pivot, and an icon of manual creation is displayed on each ply.

Note:
The order of the mirrored plies is inverted (the last mirrored ply corresponds to the first original one, the penultimate to the second, and so on).
