Characteristic Criteria Lifecycle

This lifecycle controls the states through which a characteristic criteria progresses.

You must have the role of Part and Specifications Administrator.

In-Work

When the characteristic criteria is created it is in In-Work state. You can edit, delete, copy, and promote a characteristic criteria. To promote criteria to Frozen state atleast one characteristic master must be associated to it.

Frozen

When the characteristic criteria is in Frozen state, the part and specification administrator can create a copy of characteristic criteria. To promote a criteria to Released state, all the characteristics masters associated to it must also be in Released state.

Released

When the characteristic criteria is in Released state, the part and specification administrator can promote, copy, and revise a characteristic criteria.

Obsolete

When the characteristic criteria is in Obsolete state, it is no longer available for use but the part and specification administrator can copy it.
