Characteristic Master Lifecycle

This lifecycle controls the states through which a characteristic master progresses.

You must have the role of Part and Specifications Administrator.

In-Work

When the characteristic master is created it is in In-Work state. The part and specification administrator can associate a characteristic master to a criteria, edit, delete, copy, and revise a characteristic master.

Frozen

When the characteristic master is in Frozen state, the part and specification administrator can associate a characteristic master to a criteria, promote or demote it and create a copy of characteristic master.

Released

When the characteristic master is in Released state, the part and specification administrator can associate a characteristic master to a criteria, promote, copy, and revise a characteristic master.

Obsolete

When the characteristic master is in Obsolete state, it is no longer available for use but the part and specification administrator can copy it.
