Component Material Page for Parts

This page displays a list of materials that components of the part. You can create, add existing, remove, or edit material.

To access this page:

  • Click the Name of a part.
  • Click Component Materials from the category list.

NameName of the material.
Target Weight Target weight of the material. This is read-write.
Weight U of M From the Unit of Measure list, select an option.
Revision LevelRevision level of material.
TypeType of material.
NumberMaterial Number.
ManufacturerManufacturer of external material.
Trade NameTrade name of the material.
DescriptionDescription of the material.

Actions/ Toolbar Commands

Actions/Toolbar CommandsDescription
Create Material Create external material and associate it to a part.

Add Existing Search and add internal or external material to a part.
Remove Remove selected material from a part.
Edit Modify the Target Weight and Weight U of M for a material associated with a part.

The Component Material page appears and you can edit the details.
