Administration Roadmap

Component Classify and Reuse enables design engineers to search and reuse standard parts across the enterprise based on associated equivalent manufacturer and supplier parts (MEPs and SEPs) while defining EBOMs, thereby helping companies reduce cost and expedite time-to-market for their high value products.

To implement Component Classify and Reuse on-premises, you must first install the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as described in Installation and Administration: 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Collaboration and Approvals is part of 3DSpace, which is installed as part of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

The table below contains a list of supporting components that need to be installed and configured along with a reference for more information. For Component Classify and Reuse tasks, the table provides cross references to the sections of this guide that describe those steps and options.

Define the name of the host company by changing the name of the "Company Name" business object.

Determine vaulting strategy and set up company vaults using MQL.
