Defining Parameters

You can specify various parameters to create your first feature.

  1. From the Model section of the action bar, click Carton Parameters .
  2. From the Carton type list, select whether the carton must be full or corrugated.
  3. Define the thickness value.
  4. From the Fold Parameter tab, define the following parameters:

    • Click Import to select the fold type from an xml file.
    • Click Update to update the xml file if it has been modified. Fold types to add are displayed in yellow.
    Folding laws Lets you define the position of the panel by specifying its center of rotation. By default, a half-thickness law is defined.
    Note: You can add, remove, or edit a folding law.
    Folding parameters Lets you manage the fold types. By default, a crease type associated to a half-thickness law is defined.
    Note: You can add, remove, edit, or specify a parameter by default.
  5. In Carton colors, define the colors to apply on printed sides, internal sides, lateral sides, or all sides.

    • You can select Refresh to modify the color of faces that still have their default graphical properties.
    • You can select Override to modify the color of all faces.
