Creating EBOM Markups

This topic describes how to create EBOM markups using parts with names in Japanese.

To create EBOM markups using parts with names in Japanese, you must set the browser language to “ja” (Japanese):

  1. In emxEngineeringCentral.properties, change: 

    emxEngineeringCentral.ebomMarkUpCharset=UTF-8

    to:

    emxEngineeringCentral.ebomMarkUpCharset=Shift_JIS

  2. Then change: 

    emxEngineeringCentral.EBOMMarkup.Run_Conversion_Code = false

    to:

    emxEngineeringCentral.EBOMMarkup.Run_Conversion_Code = true
