Java Activation Error on the ENOVIA Live Collaboration Server

When running on the ENOVIA Live Collaboration Server in non-RIP mode, an activation exception may occur.

Java activation errors may look like the following:

java.rmi.activation.ActivateFailedException: failed to activate
object; nested exception is:

java.rmi.activation.ActivationException: unable to create
activation group; nested exception is:

java.io.IOException: The pipe is being closed

The solution is to choose the proper configuration for your installation based on available memory.

Choose your Java heap settings as recommended in Calculating Maximum Heap Size.
