Object Types

This section lists the documents types supported by the integration, as well as the default object types and icons associated to them.

Note: Note that your administrator may have defined different types than the types provided by default. In such cases, there can be several possible object types for a given CATIA V5 document.

All objects created in X-CAD Design Management have a specific type. The type of the objects reflects the type of CATIA V5 document which it stores.

The integration comes with a default set of types which lets users differentiate each kind of documents stored in 3DEXPERIENCE. These types are associated to the same icons which are used in CATIA V5 to represent the CATIA V5 Documents types.
