Reading the Import Report

A report.htm file is created at the location specified in the ENOVIA V6 Import Utility tool after import is completed. This file is created even if import fails.

Note: The import report contains details of only those files that can be saved to your computer. Details of documents such as embedded components are not displayed in this report.

The report has an entry for each root document selected in the Document Selection section and follows the same order as the user selection.

The following columns are present for each file in the report:

Document NameDisplays the path of the file.
ActionDisplays the action to be done on the document in 3DEXPERIENCE.
Status in 3DEXPERIENCEDisplays the current status of the document in 3DEXPERIENCE as New, Modified, or Exists.
RemarksDisplays OK if the import is successful or KO if import failed.

KOClick KO to open the report for the file for which import failed.

The reports for failed imports are different for different kinds of errors. The following are some common reasons for the failed import:

KO Reason Description
Document with username already processed Files being imported have identical names.
Abort Operation Import failed into due to insufficient rights (object locked by another user).
Failed to Connect to 3DEXPERIENCE Server Connection to 3DEXPERIENCE server failed.
Current DEC iteration is not supported Correct IEF client iteration is not specified.
Obsolete Document Later iteration of the selected file is present in 3DEXPERIENCE.
Document is read only Selected file is read only.
Embedded Component name validation failed. Similar embedded component exists in the selected structure.
Auto-recognized design Save of an auto-recognized data is KO as environment variable 'CT5_AUTORECOGNITION_SUPPORT'set to 'false' or 'no'
