Deleting Files from Local and Temporary Workspaces

You can delete the files that you have downloaded to the local and temporary workspaces.

Before you begin: You must have some CATIA files in the local workspace directory, and the temporary workspace. These CATIA files should not be open in a CATIA session.
  1. Launch CATIA and connect to 3DEXPERIENCE.
  2. From the 3DEXPERIENCE menu, select Local Files Management.

    In the Local Files Management dialog box, select ENOVIA Local Workspace from the Folder list.

    In this dialog box, you can view a list of files, along with their names, types, revisions, and modification dates.

  3. Select one or more files from the list, and click Delete local file(s).
    The files downloaded in the local workspace directory are deleted.
  4. From the Folder list, select Temporary Workspace.
  5. Select one or more files from the list, and click Delete local file(s).
    The files downloaded in the temporary workspace are deleted.
    Note: The Delete local file(s) option is enabled when at least one file is selected. You cannot use the Local Files Management command to delete derived outputs. To delete the derived outputs present in the ENOVIA local workspace, you must go to the Windows explorer, and delete them manually.
