Saving a Search Query

You can save a search query and reuse it for searching documents using the same search criteria.


Before you begin: Ensure that the search query is defined. For more information, see Searching Documents. You cannot select multiple queries for a search.
  1. In the Open dialog box, click .
    The Save Query dialog box appears.
  2. Enter these details.

    Query NameType a name. Ensure that the name is unique. A message is displayed to update the query name if the same query name already exists.
    Query DescriptionType a description.
  3. Click OK.

Search query is saved with the specified name and is listed in the Saved Queries tab of the Open dialog box.
