The following table describes the shortcut behavior on chapters:

Behavior on ChapterDescription
Same chapterA chapter can be a shortcut in two different folders of a folder structure.
Different chaptersTwo chapters from a catalog can be a shortcut for a single folder. For example, Chapter_Operation and Chapter_System belong to System and Operation Catalog:

You can also perform the following operations on chapter shortcuts:

  • If you select the Folder Content check box in the Transfer Ownership dialog box, you can transfer the ownership of the chapter shortcuts. However, the items under the chapter cannot be transferred.
  • Copy, Cut and Paste operations are available on chapter shortcuts.
    Warning: An error message appears, if you perform Paste Structure only and Paste with whole duplication.
  • In Bookmark, you can rename a chapter. The modifications made reflects in all folders referencing the chapter.
  • All chapter and folder commands are available for chapter shortcuts and items respectively.
