Locking Objects

You can lock a catalog, a chapter, or an item. You can lock a catalog entity to reserve the right to modify it.

Required access roles:

Baseline: Leader

  1. Open a catalog.
  2. Select a catalog or a chapter.
  3. To lock the selected catalog or chapter, right-click the selected catalog or chapter and select Lock .
    The selected catalog or the chapter along with all sub-chapters and items are locked . A success message appears. The symbol appears before the chapters and items indicating that they are locked. You can select Unlock from the context menu to unlock the locked catalog or chapter.
