Car Controller Properties

Car Controller properties are managed through the Properties panel. You can view and modify them.

General

Active
Defines whether or not a behavior is active during a playing session.
Notes:
  • An inactive behavior or script is not executed during a playing session.
  • The behavior's activity depends on the actor's activity. If its associated actors are inactive, the behavior is also inactive.

Configuration

Front Left Wheel
Defines the front left wheel of a car.
Front Right Wheel
Defines the front right wheel of a car.
Back Left Wheel
Defines the back left wheel of a car.
Back Right Wheel
Defines the back right wheel of a car.
Speed
Defines the speed of a car.

Controls

Move Forward
Defines the key that moves a car forward.
Move Backward
Defines the key that moves a car backward.
Turn Left
Defines the key that lets a car make left turns.
Turn Right
Defines the key that lets a car make right turns.
Brake
Defines the key that stops or slows a car.

Advanced

Acceleration
Defines the time to get from 0 to the maximum speed.
Deceleration
Defines the time to get from the maximum speed to 0.
Steering Angle
Defines the car wheel angle when you turn the steering wheel to full lock.
Note: Values are in degrees.
Steering Time
Defines the time for a car wheel to reach its turning radius.
Keep on Ground
Lets a car stay on the experience ground.
