Imitate Properties

Imitate properties are managed through the Properties panel. You can view and modify them.

General

Active
Defines whether or not a behavior is active during a playing session.
Notes:
  • An inactive behavior or script is not executed during a playing session.
  • The behavior's activity depends on the actor's activity. If its associated actors are inactive, the behavior is also inactive.

Advanced

Enable Translation Axis
Defines the degree of freedom influenced by the translation constraint.
Enable Rotation Axis
Defines the degree of freedom influenced by the rotation constraint.
Position Offset
Defines a permanent offset with the target.
Orientation Offset
Defines a permanent orientation offset with the target.
Translation Smoothness
Defines the smoothness of the translation.

0: the object perfectly follows the target during the translation.

Rotation Smoothness
Defines the smoothness of the rotation.

Parameters

Target
Defines the copied 3D actor.
Imitate Translation
Applies the target's translation to the actor.
Imitate Rotation
Applies the target's rotation to the actor.
Imitate Scale
Applies the target's scale to the actor.
Keep Initial Offsets
Uses the initial position and orientation of the actor as constraints offsets.
Offset Mode
Applies constraints offsets to the actor according to the local or world axes.
