Add Keyframes Manually
You can add keyframes manually to your animation by using the Properties panel.
Before you begin: Open the Animation Editor and the
Properties panel.
- On the timeline, place the time cursor at the time where you want to add the keyframe.
- Modify an actor, either by manipulating the actor directly in the 3D area, or using the Properties panel.

In the tree or the 3D area, select
the actor.
In the Properties panel, a symbol appears in front of each actor's property.
Option Description The property cannot be added to the animation. The property can be added to the animation. The property is already added to the animation. There is no keyframe added to the current location on the timeline.
The property is already added to the animation. A keyframe is added to the current location on the timeline. The key's value is different from the property's value.
The property is already added to the animation. A keyframe is added to the current location on the timeline. The key and the property have the same value.

In the Properties panel, do one of the following:
- Click .
- Right-click the symbol and select Add Key.
A keyframe, storing the property's value, is added at the specified time to the timeline. - Optional:
To remove a keyframe, do one of the following in the Properties
panel:
- Click .
- Right-click the symbol and select Remove Key.
- To add more keyframes, repeat Steps 1 to 3 as many times as required.
