Instantiating a User Feature

This section describes the different methods available to instantiate a User Feature.

Notes:
  • When instantiating templates in Structure Design apps (Structure Functional Design, Structure Design), the selection of new inputs outside the current context does not create contextual links but rep-rep links, to be compliant with structure design links.
  • A user feature cannot be instantiated in a body containing Sheet Metal objects.
  • To upgrade an instance with a modified reference, you can instantiate again the reference and replace the previously instantiated instance by the new one.
