Overview of V5 Device Data Not Migrated into V6

This section describes the types of device data that is not migrated from V5 to V6.

  • Any activity not listed as migrated elsewhere in this section: e.g., follow path, call task, actions (weld, mount, grab), I/O, set/wait
  • Command values
    • In V5, Jog retained the command values of device instances. This allowed you to modify and save the design command values for each instance of the device. This is not supported in V6, therefore the data with different instance command values will not have the same behavior in V6 after import. You may see the parts jump when jogging such devices.
