Working with the Component Browser

Component Browser shows details of the class activated in the Package Browser. It displays the components, connectors and extended classes. You can also select to display parameters, variables, constants, and discrete values.

  1. Optional: To display parameters, variables, constants, and discrete values in the Component Browser, in addition to the default content, click, from the Component Browser header, Show Preferences, and then activate the preference Show parameters.
  2. Optional: To display the class path of the components, click, from the Component Browser header, Show Preferences, and then activate the preference Show reference class path.
  3. To sort the components and connectors in the Component Browser, in an alphabetical order or reverse alphabetical order, click Sort .
  4. To navigate using history:
    1. Click one of the following:

      Previous Activated Object
      Displays the previous model from navigation history.
      Next Activated Object
      Displays the next model from navigation history.
      Last 5 Activated Models
      Displays the list of the last five objects you have previously visited.

    2. Click to activate a component.
