Generating a Modelica Model from a Kinematic Mechanism

Generate from Kinematic lets you generate a Modelica model from a kinematic mechanism of a physical product.


Before you begin:

Create a mechanism in a physical product.

  1. Click Generate from Kinematic .
  2. To select the mechanism, click the Mechanism: field and select any joint or command of the mechanism from the tab of the physical product.
  3. To select the target parent class, click Insert In: field and select the package from the Package Browser.
  4. Click the Output class name: field and enter a name for the Modelica model to be created.
