Computing (Zeros and) Poles

Compute poles or Compute zeros and poles lets you linearize a model and plot the (zeros and) poles of the linearized model.

Before you begin:
  1. Import the library Modelica_LinearSystems2.
  2. Open the model.
  1. Click Compute poles , or Compute zeros and poles , respectively.
  2. In the modelParam tab, click select to select the values of the model parameters used for linearization.
  3. To edit the values of the selected parameters, click the corresponding Value boxes and change the values.
  4. In the simulationSetup tab deselect linearizeAtInitial and edit other simulation options as needed.
