Opening an Existing Script

You can open an existing script, either from a file outside the 3DEXPERIENCE structure, or from a resource, depending where the script is located.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin: The Modelica Script Editor must be open.

Open an Existing Script from File

You can open an existing script, stored outside the 3DEXPERIENCE structure.

  1. In the Modelica Script Editor, click Open Script.
    The Open Script dialog box appears.
  2. To open an existing script from a file menu, click Open a script from disk .
    The Open Modelica Script File dialog box appears.
  3. Browse for the script file and click Open.
    The selected script file is opened in a new tab in the Modelica Script Editor.

Open an Existing Script from Resources

You can open an existing script, stored as a resource.

  1. In the Modelica Script Editor, click Open Script.
    The Open Script dialog box appears.
  2. To open an existing script from a resource, click Open a script from the resources .
    The Select Resources dialog box appears.
  3. Browse for the script file and click OK.
    The selected script file is opened in a new tab in the Modelica Script Editor.
