Switching from Dymola Behavior Modeling to Functional & Logical Design

To work simultaneously on a function or logical component and on its behavior, you can easily switch between the two apps.

Before you begin: From the Functional & Logical Design app,
  • Create a functional or logical component.
  • Insert a Dymola or Context behavior in this component.
  • From the tree, double-click the functional or logical behavior node.

    The Dymola Behavior Modeling app appears and displays the functional or logical behavior.

  1. If the tree is not already displayed: from the dock, click Tree .
    The tree appears in the dock and displays the functional and logical system.

    The Dymola or Context behavior is highlighted. The figure below displays a logical example.

  2. To switch to the Functional & Logical Design app, you can either:
    • From the fixed section of the action bar, click Exit App .
    • Double-click the functional or logical component from the tree Below an example of logical component.

    As a result, the Functional & Logical Design app appears and displays the related function or logical component.

  3. To go back to the Dymola Behavior Modeling app, double-click the behavior node from the tree.
