Synchronizing the Position of Connectors Between the Diagram Layer and the Icon Layer

You can synchronize the position of connectors between the diagram layer and the icon layer.

Before you begin: Open an editable class containing connectors that are visible both from the diagram layer and the icon layer.
  1. From the Diagram section of the action bar, click Icon Layer , to select the diagram layer or icon layer.

    • The command works in toggle mode.
    • The diagram layer is open by default.

  2. To synchronize the position of connectors between the diagram layer and the icon layer:
    1. Right-click the outline of the connector.
    2. Click Move All Connectors in Both Layers.

    Notes:
    • The command works on all connectors in a model.
    • The command works in toggle mode.
    • By default, the connector´s position is not synchronized between the diagram layer and the icon layer.
    • This activation is persistent in session.

    As an example, if you activate the command for a certain connector in the diagram layer, the result is:
    • The position of that specific connector in the icon layer is changed to be the same as in the corresponding position in the diagram layer.
    • For the other connectors the option is activated, but their position is not synchronized until you move them.
    • If you move any connector in the model, it is moved in both layers. After the movement, the positon is the same in both layers.
