Finding Where a Modelica Library is Used

You can find in what libraries, functions, and logical components a Modelica library is used.

This is only a short description, for more information see Relations UserĀ“s Guide.

Important: You can only explore on library and behavior level, you cannot explore where a Modelica model is used inside a Modelica library.


Before you begin: A Modelica library is used in other Modelica libraries or behaviors.
  1. In the Search box of the top bar, enter your search criteria. An example of criteria is dbl:*m* to search for all existing Modelica libraries containing "m" in the library names.

    Note: The use of dbl:* to search for all Modelica libraries is not supported.

  2. Click Search .
    The Search Results panel is displayed.
  3. Right-click the result you want to explore and select Relations
  4. Select relation. You can now navigate by clicking the relations arrow.
  5. To avoid a bloated view:
    1. In the Selection Menu, click Multiselection ON.
    2. Select the object you do not want to appear in the view.
    3. Click Remove Object.
  6. To open a target, select the related object and click Open.
