Publishing Signal Operator Results to Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

You can publish signal operator results to Key Performance Indicators (KPI), for later use in dashboards.

Before you begin:
  • You have applied a signal operator on a curve.
  • You have at least one Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to publish to. See Product Performance Assessment UserĀ“s Guide. If you work with a behavior and have a functional or logical reference in the tree, you can, for example, publish to that reference. (Pure Modelica Models do not contain any KPI targets to publish to.)
  • To see the published result in the tree, you must, from Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Systems Architecture > Functional & Logical Design, the Tree tab, activate the following preferences:
    • In the RFLP Tree group, Display parameter folder in Functional and Logical trees
    • In the Requirement Tree group, Display parameter folder in tree
  1. In the plotter where you have defined signal operators, right-click the signal operator you want to publish, and select Publish Signal Operator to KPI.
  2. Select the KPI target to publish to.

You can, for example, click a logical model in the tree.

The Publish From Simulation dialog box appears.
  3. In the Publish from Simulation dialog box:
    1. Click Select a KPI type and select the type.
    2. Click Store to validate your selection.
The result of the selected signal operator is published to the selected Key Performance Indicator. It also appears in the tree:

Note: To display values for parameters in the tree, you must activate the Display values in the specification tree preference from Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Multi Discipline Automated Engineering > Knowledge Basics, the Parameters & Relations tab, the Parameters tree view group.
