Creating a Peer Review

You can create a peer review so that the assignee can approve of or reject the controlled document's current content.

  1. View the My Documents page tab. See Home Page.
  2. Select the controlled document to which you want to add a peer review.
  3. In the navigation pane, select Peer Review.
  4. Select the peer review assigned to you that you want to complete.
  5. Click Actions > Create New ..
  6. Enter these details:

    TitleEnter a descriptive title for the peer review.
    Due DateClick to select the due date for this peer review.
    AssigneeClick to search for the person who needs to complete this peer review.

    The peer review task's assignee is automatically granted Review access to the controlled document.

    InstructionsProvide a detailed explanation of what the assignee is expected to do to complete this peer review.
    Allow DelegationIf you want the assignee to be able to delegate this peer review to another person, select the Allow Delegation check box.

    If the assignee chooses to delegate the peer review to another user, the controlled document's owner must manually grant Checkin access to that user so that the new assignee can complete the peer review task.

  7. Click Apply to save this peer review and continue creating more peer reviews, or click OK to create this peer review and close the dialog box.

The new peer review task is added to the Peer Review page for the controlled document and as a task item in Step 2 Peer Review.
