Restricting Mass Promote to ECO Search Results

This section defines the property that restricts the mass promotion feature to the ECO search results page.

This property in the ief.properties file determines whether or not the mass promote feature is restricted to search results that include an ECO value:

mcadIntegration.RestrictMultiPromoteToECOSearch=false

The default is false, and users can access the mass promote feature without searching for objects based on an ECO.

If set to true, the mass promote feature can only be accessed from the Search Results page if the search criteria included an ECO value. If you set this property to true, you must also add the ECO field to the search dialog. See ECO Field in Search Dialog for details.
