Updating Assignments and Assigning GCO for CSE

For a specific user, you can use the Update Assignments function so that they will be assigned collaborative products from the role they are assigned to or get the updates available in the GCOs of such collaborative products. Update assignments for groups is not supported

This function can be used to select appropriate GCO for an integration.


Before you begin: Login as a user who has been assigned the "Integration Administrator" role.
  1. For Customer-Specific Environment, from the top bar, select > Designer > Update Assignments. The Select User page appears.

    This function can be used to select appropriate GCO for an integration.

  2. Select the user for whom you want to update assignments. See "Select Users" in the X-CAD Design Management User's Guide.
  3. Click Next. The Step 2 of 2:Select GCOs for Assigned Integrations lists all the integrations that the user is assigned to.
  4. Click corresponding to any integration to open the GCO Chooser page. Select a GCO and click Submit.
  5. Click Done.
